The trio of KO Series Super Seven events crowned their champions on January 5 and it was “CanadaLuckBox” who got their hands on the largest prize of the evening.

By the time the final table was set, nobody could or would take home less than $3,600 with the bounty element included. “SentaaPua” was the first finalist to head to the showers, their exit in seventh place turning their $530 investment into a $3,655.

“WeetaBIX2959” crashed out in sixth before “bite_me” but the dust in fifth place, a finish worth $6,906. Fourth-place and $7,607 went to “chu_anesse” before “MrWozza” scooped the first five-figure prize of the event, namely $13,015 when they ran out of steam in third.

Heads-up pitted the CanadaLuckBox against “Joe Panini” and it was the former who emerged from the battle victoriously. CanadaLuckBox’s victory resulted in a $25,512 prize winging its way to their account. The man named after a sandwich collected $13,173 for their runner-up finish.

“Massh”, “INDOMIE_GORENG” and “PaprenG4G” busted in seventh place through fifth before “m8knrunz” impressive run finished in a fourth-place exit worth $2,468 with bounty payments included.

The tournament reached the heads-up stage when “i2Strong4U” proved not to be too strong for their other two opponents. Although disappointed not to win this event, the third-place finisher padded their bankroll with $4,362 which will go some way to numbing the pain.

“TeamDust95” and “Bashkan” locked horns in the final battle of the tournament. Both locked up more than $5,100 from the main prize pool but the bounty payments were now sky high in comparison to the tournament’s buy-in.

Bashkan got the job done and added $4,237 worth of bounties to their $5,172 main prize. TeamDust95’s $5,163 main prize pool haul was boosted by $1,727 worth of bounty payments.

“vladeos” must have woken up this morning full of the joys of spring after seeing their $5.50 buy-in multiply by almost 320. Their reward for topping a field of 2,415 players was a combined prize weighing in at $1,754, which is huge for a $5.50 entry.

“LB Nuts” was this tournament’s runner-up. Second place paid out $1,063, only $4 less than the champion’s payout but the bounties seriously came into play. The champ’s bounty payment was worth $687 while the runner-up scooped an additional $52.
